"Your assumptions are your windows on the world. Scrub them off every once in a while, or the light won't come in." - Isaac Asimov
As parents, we are constantly thinking about the future—what kind of world our children will grow up in and how we can best prepare them for it. But what if the world we think we know is about to change in ways we can’t yet imagine? If you could prepare, wouldn’t you? First, what do we know? We know the U.S. government has acknowledged the existence of UAP (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena) or UFO (Unidentified Flying Object) through declassified reports and hearings. These objects have been observed by military personnel and recorded using advanced technologies, yet they remain unexplained.
What else do we know? We know that civilians have a long history of encountering UAP as well as non-human intelligence or NHI. We also know, as illustrated in the book, "Encounters" by Diana Pasulka, who is a scholar of religious studies, that such encounters have been happening throughout time. She has reported instances found through direct translations of archived texts. These instances match up with many of our present day encounters.
What does disclosure mean? At its core, disclosure refers to the government, or other authoritative bodies, fully acknowledging and sharing what they know about UAPs (or UFOs) and non-human intelligence (NHI) with the public. This would go beyond the declassified reports we’ve seen so far and include concrete evidence, such as detailed encounters, recovered technologies, or communications with NHI. Disclosure would challenge many of our fundamental assumptions about reality, science, and humanity’s role in the universe. Not to mention challenging our trust in our own government.
The idea of UAP or UFO disclosure may seem like a topic for scientists, the military, or conspiracy theorists, but what if it’s something we all need to be thinking about? What if it is truly imminent?
As mothers, we want to guide our children through uncertainty and help them understand the world around them. If disclosure becomes a reality, it’s not just a matter of curiosity—it’s a shift in how we see ourselves and our place in the universe. Could it push our religious beliefs to their boundary? Imagine the questions our children might have: “Who are they?” “What does this mean for us?” We need to be prepared, not just with answers but with the tools to foster open conversations, curiosity, and resilience.
Children are so malleable that they might not have an issue accepting a new reality. But what about us, the parents? While children may have the advantage of being more open to new realities, as parents, we may struggle more with these shifts. We've grown up with certain beliefs about the world and how it operates. I grew up Catholic and in the United States. I’ve also studied the universe for two decades along with spirituality and learning Rosicrucian studies for almost a year. How I digest disclosure is going to be very different than a devout Muslim or Catholic would. Disclosure could force us to confront the unknown, challenging our comfort zones and worldviews.
So, how do we prepare? We begin by accepting that it's okay to not have all the answers. We focus on creating an environment where curiosity is encouraged, and where it's safe to ask hard questions. "Does this mean Jesus still exists?" "Will I still go to heaven? Is there still a heaven?" etc... The list will go on. Take a look at this list of ways to open yourself to new ideas of reality. It really isn't even a change, as the world and the universe are how they have always been. It's a change in our perception, an awakening.
1. Encourage Open Dialogue
The most important step is fostering a home environment where questions and conversations are welcome. Ask your children what they’ve heard about UFOs, UAPs, the paranormal, spirits etc... Let them express their feelings, and don’t shy away from discussing your own thoughts and uncertainties. This openness will help children feel safe as they process new information.
Why: Open dialogue builds trust and teaches children that it’s okay to explore difficult topics, rather than suppress or fear them.
2. Educate Yourself and Your Family
Begin learning about UAPs and the possibilities of non-human intelligence. Books like Imminent by Luis Elizondo and Encounters by Diana Pasulka are great starting points. Watch documentaries like Jeremy Corbell's UFO Revolution, read articles, or follow recent hearings (the next one is tentatively set for November 13, 2024 and will be led by Rep. Nancy Mace, R-SC) and reports to stay informed. To learn more about who supports disclosure, Lester Nare has a great website with tons of information to get involved. https://www.uapcaucus.com/congress
Why: The more educated we are as parents, the better we can help our children understand the context and implications of disclosure, offering knowledge rather than fear.
3. Use Pop Culture to Help Acclimate
Use popular movies and TV shows to help you to start to acclimate or begin to dip your toe into the waters of UAP. Some movies or tv shows that have helped me open my mind are Interstellar, Arrival, Transcendence, Moonfall and Manifest just to name a few. Although these are works of fiction, they can help your brain to accept possible life other than humans. I wouldn't recommend Independence Day or Alien...I mean, let's keep this positive. 😀
4. Normalize the Unknown
Disclosure could bring with it a sense of uncertainty. Instead of fearing the unknown, normalize it as part of life. Teach your children that not knowing everything is okay, and that curiosity is a gift. The universe is vast and full of mysteries, and this is something to explore together as a family.
Why: This will help your children develop resilience, adaptability, and a healthy sense of curiosity when faced with unknowns.
5. Emphasize Core Values
While the world around us might change, core family values—love, kindness, respect—remain constant. Emphasize these values, and reassure your children that no matter what happens, your family’s love and support will always be a guiding force.
Why: Maintaining a strong sense of family connection and values will help provide stability during times of change.
6. Connect with Communities
Find like-minded groups or forums where families are discussing UAPs and disclosure. Knowing that other families are preparing in similar ways can help ease anxiety. I have two memberships, "Mindfully MomMe" and "Mindfully Spiritual." Mindfully MomMe is geared towards moms only whereas Mindfully Spiritual is for anyone. Check each out, but I'm going to bet, if you are a Mom, Mindfully MomMe will be the one for you.
Why: Community support can provide resources, different perspectives, and a shared sense of readiness.
Final Thoughts: Preparing Ourselves and Our Families for the Unknown
Disclosure, whether it comes tomorrow or in the distant future, is a reality that could reshape how we see ourselves and our world. As parents, our role is to prepare our children not just for the known, but for the unknown as well. It starts with having ourselves prepared. By fostering open communication, learning together, normalizing curiosity, and emphasizing the values that ground us, we can guide our families through this potentially transformative moment with grace and resilience. In the end, the greatest gift we can give our children is the ability to face the future—whatever it holds—with open minds and hearts.

How can we navigate this new reality?
1. Stay Informed: With UAP disclosure becoming more mainstream, thanks to official reports and credible witnesses coming forward, it's crucial to stay informed through reliable sources. This doesn't mean accepting every claim at face value but rather applying a critical eye and open mind to the information available.
2. Engage in Dialogue: The topic of UAPs and NHIs invites a myriad of viewpoints. Engage in discussions, be it in forums, community groups, or social media platforms, to explore different perspectives. This dialogue is essential not only for understanding but for expanding our collective comprehension of these phenomena.
3. Reflect on the Implications: Consider the personal and collective implications of a reality where UAPs and NHIs are an acknowledged part of our world. How does this reshape our understanding of existence, intelligence, and the universe? Reflection can be a powerful tool for personal growth and expanding one's worldview.
4.Seek Community Support: You're not alone in pondering these questions. Many communities are grappling with similar dilemmas. Finding a group of like-minded individuals can provide support and encouragement as you navigate these complex issues. Mindfully Spiritual - Awakening Together
5. Educate Yourself: Delve into the science behind UAP and the theories surrounding interdimensional beings. Understanding the evidence and the hypotheses can help in reconciling these phenomena with an atheistic worldview.
6. Reflect on Your Beliefs: Take time for personal reflection. Consider how these revelations align with or challenge your beliefs. Reflection can foster growth and adaptation, helping to resolve internal conflicts.
7. Remain Flexible: The landscape of knowledge and understanding is always evolving. Remaining open and flexible to new information and interpretations can ease the process of integrating these discoveries into your worldview.
8. Explore Interdisciplinary Approaches: Engage with fields beyond just astronomy or physics, such as psychology, philosophy, and even theology, to explore the broader implications of UAP disclosure. This interdisciplinary approach can offer new insights and enrich the dialogue.
In navigating the reality of UAP disclosure, we're invited to reconsider the limits of human understanding and the possibilities that lie beyond. This journey isn't just about seeking answers but about embracing the mysteries of our universe with wonder, curiosity, and an openness to the unknown.
